According to Eliot tradition obtain with an effort and inherent.there is no slavish imitation of Tradition.A poet have to developed of a great judgement of past writers and shift of greatness.Eliot said that no poet , no artist of any art has his complete meaning alone.his appreciation only with the dead poets and artist of history. .

Eliot demands from readers and poet to write with Shakespearean has not much knowledge of other languages than English, and no record of his education at any university.though he had wide array of characters and as well as human nature .Shakespeare seemed to absorbed his age and become exceptional than every poet of the age .Matthew Arnold said that critic should provide fresh ideas to the author.
