Harmione as courageous and strong character , an integral part of ' The trio ' . Hermione's greatest strength is a vast intellect combined with her magical ability. She portrayed as an emotional character , Harry not means it is boycentric narration here. Sometimes Hermione self- conscious about physical appearance , that can be seen as feminist reading. That women cares for it much not men. She also feel jealous when Ron dating anyone.
Sometimes common patriarchal gender roles have been reversed and Hermione is given the power to take control of the situation, while harry just follows her. McGonagall holds powerful position in Hogwarts against professor . Tom Riddle uses Ginny for power , Rowling criticising the immorality of society where men feel free to victimize women. nowadays fight against patriarchy in real world for own identities and empowerment.

 2)    Discourse on the purity of Blood and Harry Potter: How do the novels play with the thesis of pure blood (Master Race) giving an anti-thesis by belonging protagonists to half-blood / Mud-blood? What sort of synthesis is sought in this discourse in Harry Potter series?

Pure blood for Wizards and Witches who have no muggle blood or muggle born. They are supremacists , weasly , potter and lang bottoms are old pure blood families.
Half- blood for those Wizards and Witches who have magical and muggle ancestors in their family trees.Half- blood inferior to pure blood. The malfoy family , Voldemort and Severus Snape belongs it. Harry himself is a Half- blood , his father married to muggle born Lily.
Muggle born is the term applied to those whose parents were muggles. Malfoy used the term mudblood to insult Hermione.
Intolerance and prejudices based on the purity of person ‘ s in wizarding world. Squib always there second part. " Mudblood " highly offensive term implying that the individual has dirty and inferior blood , don't deserve magic.

3)      Confronting reality by reading fantasy: How does reading Harry Potter make us confront the reality of our everyday existence?

Fantasy stories are commonly used to represent a particular reality that is present and visible in the society.
Harry 's frustration, desires and loneliness are based on emotions and feelings that is very typical for real people to experience.
Social moral issues such as greed , power, fame and superiority became one of the dark theme also present in current society. Discriminatioin Gryffindor , Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw  and Slytherin ,in school house produces that also in our society and culture.

The idea of Racism in the novel , ' Muggles ' & 'Wizards ' distinct in culture and abilities than regular people , sense of superiority over ordinary and powerless people still manifesting in the world. Desire is a major element of one's life and to control it become frustration as like Harry 's wish to meet his parents. Rowling uses the fantasy genre to further elaborate and criticise , what is currently happening in our society , rooted in real life events.

4)      Self-Help culture and Harry Potter: How does it stand by an argument that Self-Help Culture serves as a tool of social control: it sooths political unrest . . . one blames oneself for not getting better off is society and remains in one's own pursuit of self-invention, blaming oneself for the failure rather than the systems?

From this series , we are able to recognize ourself in that character and understand the struggle , thus might have better understanding our own.
From Harry 's character sense of deciding own Fate. Some relationship, friends and siblings very important in life.

Feelings of hopeless , lost friends, life and love , felt triumph and loss , this reading make us wiser and disillusioned with the world. Characters gave us our own experience and inspire hope when we are struggling with our own experience.

5)      The discourse of Power and Politics in Harry Potter: How does Ministry of Magic control the resistance? How do they prosecute the ‘Other’?

In society several things remain same , Inequalities have always existed , and always source of conflict , if class have power , that is greater strength.
Discrimination is generalized at all magicians lower than pure blood wizards , Harry is discriminated by Malfoy. People with the power to enslave others and control them.

Ministry of magic it's complete inability to enforce its own laws.Voldemort take control over it , Dolores Umbridge enforcing new rules in education , change the syllabus ,new books , only theoretical not practical thing. Ministry of magic makes harder policies , nothing in hands of people , non human magic creatures , and it does nothing to help wizards.

Harry Potter changed everything , something that is read by everyone, the children who grew up reading Harry Potter went on to read children's books as an adults. one of the radical things about the series was the ideas of the hero growing older as series progressed.
In every book the characters become a bit more mature and problem becomes more complicated.

One reason why it is a phenomenon is because it because it could take them through so much of their lives in a way other children book and young people 's can't. A good representation of surely adolescence. Emotional connection of characters that harry trying to undertake his parents without having known them at all.thus it insight into human condition.

Harry Potter have us the thrill of reading every genre, yet keeping the fantasy alive. fantasy continues to be medium which has subgenres. It includes elements and begins originating from or inspired traditional stories such as mythical , creatures and fairies , magic , witchcraft and potions etc.

In Harry Potter various creatures , people , places , magical devices and sports , government and wizarding media all element of speculative literature. Speculative fiction is an umbrella gerne encompassing fiction with certain elements that do not exist in the real world, often supernatural or imaginative themes. Rowling claims the height.

8)      The theme of Choice and Chance: How does Harry Potter discusses the antithetical concepts of ‘choice’ and ‘chance’?

Dumbledore subsequently tells Harry that “ it is our choices that show what we truly are , far more than our abilities.
Importance of personal choices in determining outcomes , rather then either chance or fate.
Harry Potter contains magical prophecies , that prophecies comes true , people choose to act on them.

Lily Potter's chices to protect her at the cost of her own life. Harry's choice to sacrifice himself has truly broken Voldemort's power.

Tom Riddle's choice are lead to the creation of Lord Voldemort. Harry and Voldemort make very different choices about how to make use of their abilities , about what kind of life to live. Voldemort's inability to understand the power of love , misunderstood the power of this protection. The tragic paradox of Voldemort is that he sacrifice his life for immortality . He gives up humanity , capacity of love for an chance at an empty everlasting existence.

10)   Moral and Philosophical reading of Harry Potter: How does the concept of ‘evil breeds evil’ unfold in Harry Potter? What is the significance of Harry being one of the Horcruxes?

Harry survived Voldemort 's curse because his mother 's instinct to protect him.
Friendship and loyalty beats wealth and status. Money and power weren't important to Harry , he interested in friendship , affection and loyalty.
Voldemort's possession with Harry but Harry 's ability of love makes him fail in it. Voldemort's soul attached with Harry but not for long.

The trio , Hermione , Ron and Harry is an archetype of friendship. Harry's loyalty to Dumbledore and emotional strength is severally tested. Friendship established in the world and how it involves mutual loyalty and honesty as well as moral support.

11) Christianity and Harry Potter Series: How many times Harry and his friends visit Church? how often in the moments of crisis when they are helpless, clueless, they pray to God for Grace or Mercy? How many times God's Grace saves them from the Devil Lord Voldemort? Does J.K. Rowling use Christianity at any level in the entire Harry Potter.

Dumbledore owner a copy of the Birbal for desire of knowledge not out of his personal religious devotion. Sirius was possibly christian as he was Harry's Godfather. There are several major theology of Salvation.
Resurrection and redemption is also very christian symbol.

All character solved mystery by themselves rather from help of God. They never went to church for praying and for helping them at the moment. In the moment of crisis , when they are helpless , not ask god for mercy. But their braveness , love , relation , honesty all make them capable of solving difficulties. Not God.

When Harry have to sacrifice himself at that time also not God's grace saves from the devil. In end also they fight themselves , thus not Christian sign or symbool there.

12. What is your opinion on this :
From the Harry Potter series we believe that whatever represented to us in form of media and press that is never true. Media and press present the thing far away from the truth or not truth at all. we can conclude that never believe in any established thing , even on authority they always wears second mask on the face , we would never know the reality behind it. Nowadays what happens and what presented is totally different thing. There are many layers on real matter. To know the real truth behind the things become necessary to question everything. From this series we comes to know media , press and authority are never reliable . Thats why questioning will lead us to near the truth.
