Midnight's children is a 1981 novel by british indian author Salman Rushdie. It is consider as a post colonial literature.
The novel is an ' allegory on india ' it described the events before independence and after independence. It contains the narration of how partition and independent struggle affect the lives of innocent people. How their relationship changed as well intrigue , violence and hatred provoked for each other. People divided by lines and nations. This separate people by religion ,cast and culture also .
At some point, in the film history is narrated in a fiction way. Rushdie presented fiction and reality. It deals with different way of looking at the symbols. It deals with history and culture of india as well as freedom struggle of people at that time.
The story of Saleem Sinai rich boy and Shiva poor boy. Who born at midnight on 15 August, 1947 , exactly at time of independence of india. There is also a fantastic element in children born at midnight they have different sense means special power. Saleem able to heard the voice of hundreds children born at midnight, they talk with each other and become part of it.

The story began with interview of Changez khan by American CIA agent Bobby Lincoln . Changez khan who is young and intellectual businessman.he was living in new York city. His beloved Erica. After attack of 9 / 11 on Tower he abused as a terrorist and blamed because of he was muslim professor. They judge him also by his appearance of beard man that as he is pakistani terrorist. When that attack happened his expression reflects many things.
