DIGDARSHAK:



⟹The play " Ek maulik sarjak : Digdarshak " it is about the theme 'Theatre v/s Cinema'.writer of the play is 'priyam jani' and director of the play is 'Rishit Jhaveri'. 

     First of all the play Digdarshak deals with present situation that the value of cinema increased day by day and  on the other side the importance of  theatre decreased by the time. So the play gave message to the audience that ,"people nowadays focused only on the goal that anyhow get that goal but by which process they reach their goal it is generally forgotten steps are also important by which we getting our dreams,goals & desires. In the play director satires that everyone used theater because by that they able to reach to the cinema , there is no value of theatre. And rebukes actor that he had left theatre.        

         Another thing  about the play is theatre demands a lot of hard work while anything performed, behind it many settings done by group like stage-background, lighting, music and it is live performance so if there is a little mistake the play may have  much trouble, like cinema theatre have not 'Retakes'.So theatre demands hard management than cinema.                         

        In this play theatre make the director selfish that he helped the boy because he will work at theatre and this is how  the importance of the theatre will Preserved for  generations. So there is a satire ;'why art make man so selfish?'.    

         Another thing which we saw that director failed in keeping balance between personal life and professional life. That he doesn't want  shadow of his personal life make trouble on his art or profession .but shadow of his love for profession  make trouble with his family . His son hates his father's busy life, so he said actor that if he left theatre than he will be greatly  disturbed and will also left theatre, this is how he get his father again.                             

         This play gave many messages which is very important for our lives. Message on man's ego that he knows everything but when faces the real  situation , he knows , he was wrong, he need much hard work. Man's selfishness towards his art,to keep balance between family and profession. And very important thing is importance of theatre, that we conclude that  isfar better than cinema.                                   

          The play Digdarshak appreciated much, in manner of settings, flashback system,music and dialogues of director and actor , which shows the whole theme of the play and also influence us, we get convinced with the message  of the play. So very greatly constructed and performed.the play related with present situation it is great thing.                            


       The play Digdarshak best pay with theme of theater v/s cinema. Dialogue that is I much like is ,⤼"if we dive into  the sea than either we get knowledge of sea otherwise at the sea -shore  we get stones and  sand"⤺
