Modern era
In modern time we find the changes in ideal of life , manners of everyday life as well as periodic changes happened. Progress and regress both are fruits of the scientific revolution , which is the outstanding features of the century.modern  machinery and technology , scientific advancement , individual morality this all aspects were chiefly govern the time and people.

  Modern Times
On 29 June , 2018 ; this movie watched by us as a part to understand the modern literature and age . Modern times is a 1936 American comedy film written and directed by Charlie Chaplin. In this film there is a plenty of  social criticism and satire on a machine age.

This film reflected the characteristics of 20th century or modern age is scientific revolution and technology , unemployment , Marxist theory , poor and working class and  culture of individualism .

In this machinery age , there is advantages and disadvantages of the technology . That death of craftsmanship and individual' s skill almost vanished. Machine takes place , it controls man . Man have to work like machine , continuesly with technology with great hard work to cope with it. If there is any mistake then he had a discharge from the factory.

Unemployment
In this time growth of mass production , people have to face it bacause  of industrialization. Factory workers struggling to survive in modern industrial society. There is a great depression of workers to cope with hard machinery.

Poor and working class
In this film there is a story of a poor girl , who become orphan and homeless girl. She has to steal food for her brother and sister. So it can conclude that poor class people have don't even basic necessities of life .. of food,  home and clothes.it is a feature of the time reflects the situation of poor, orphan and working class family and their suffering to survive in modern time.

This film also reflects Marxist theory of different classes. Ideal of life that outdoor works will be by male and odds by female.also reflection of culture of individualism. Humanity crusading in the pursuit of happiness.

At the end there is a scene of Down , means hope for new better world , keep trying it will be success. The law takes charges of the orphans and their basic needs of life.so this film clarify the very clear picture of the industrialization of the age and it's effect on lives.

The Great Dictator
The Great Dictator is a 1940 American political satire, comedy, drama film written , directed and produced by Charlie Chaplin. This was Chaplin' s first true sound film.

This film is historically significant film and satire work also. Charlie Chaplin played double role in the film. The one is Hynkle the Dictator and the second one is Jewish Barber in Ghetto. This both characters are totally opposite in nature though looking same like each other.

Hitler as a cruel ruler
This film is about situations between world wars.That the Hitler who was in great power and position , become very cruel and dengerous by the time. Ego and power leads towards the War which ended in nothing only destruction to human beings and society. So world wars very prominent features of the time reflects in film.

About Two world war
This was the story between two world war , an interim in which insanity cut loose. There are politics dynamics also played vital role behind the situation. Jew soldier fighting for the country . Identity of race make difference between people. Leaders of nation fighting and use people for undesirable things likes Wars. They seeds of hatres in mind. And provokes for keeping hate to each other.

The first half of the present century was completely overshadowed by two wars. And the post war an era of ' Depression and of want of an Employment .' which is the mark feature of time reflected in film.

Last speech of the Barber in place of Hitler is very famous and relevant today , Which is universal speech. It was about democracy ' s fake promises about employment and future , exploitation of people by Dictator. Let  us a world of science and progress which lead to all men's happiness , go away with Greed , hate and intolerance , fight for a free world. Let us all unite !
